What is Sploinkers?

Sploinkers is a fan-made music game built on the Sprunki sound-mixing idea. Instead of standing still, its characters are elastic: you stretch and poke them, and the beat reacts to how they move. It is played in your browser, runs on the same simple idea as the rest of the Sprunki series, and costs nothing to start.

The whole point is layering. Every character owns one sound — a beat, a bass line, a voice or a small percussion loop. Drop them onto the stage one at a time and the track builds up; take one away and you hear exactly what it was adding. Because Sploinkers characters bounce, the mix you end up with is a little looser and goofier than a straight phase, which is what players come to it for.

How to play Sploinkers

  1. Wait for the game to load inside the player above, then click or tap once inside it. Browsers keep sound muted until you interact, so this first tap is what starts the audio.
  2. Pick a character and drag it onto the stage. Give it a moment to loop so you can hear what it does on its own.
  3. Add a second and third sound. Keep the low, steady sounds underneath and use the louder voices on top.
  4. Pull a character back off the stage to remove its layer. Muting by subtraction is the fastest way to find the one part that is not working.

There is no score and no timer. Once the mix sounds right, use fullscreen when you want more room, and reload the player whenever you want to start again from silence.
