The Sprunki characters are twenty standard figures plus eighteen hidden ones, and every standard character belongs to one of four sound groups: Beats, Effects, Melodies and Vocals. That group is the character's job in a mix.
The four groups
Beats carry the rhythm and go down first. Effects add texture - odd noises, mechanical hits, punctuation - and sit between the rhythm and the tune. Melodies own the tune you hum afterwards. Vocals sit on top and give the track a voice.
Once you know the four groups you can read any stage at a glance. A mix that feels empty is usually missing a beat; a mix that feels crowded usually has two characters competing from the same group.
The standard twenty
The lineup includes Oren, Clukr, Simon, Tunner, Gray, Wenda, Vineria, Brud, Jevin, Pinki, Raddy, Sky, Durple, Garnold, Owakcx, Mr Sun, Mr Tree, Mr Fun Computer, Fun Bot and Black. Each of the twenty has a character page with its design, its sounds, its profile details and its horror form.
Names get mixed up often because the cast is large and the fan variants multiply it. If you are looking for one character in particular, the characters hub is the reliable list: it is generated from the pages this site actually serves.
The eighteen hidden characters
Hidden does not mean secret code and it does not mean cut content. It means those characters appear inside specific mods rather than in the standard lineup, so you meet them by opening the right mod rather than by unlocking anything.
Our hidden characters guide lists all eighteen names and explains which mods they show up in. The twenty standard characters are the ones with dedicated pages; the hidden eighteen are documented in the hub.
How a character works on stage
Place a character and its sound starts looping; remove it and the sound stops. A finished track is a set of characters playing together, which means there is no single correct answer to what a Sprunki song sounds like.
That is also why characters can look wildly different and still work together. The art sets the mood, but the group decides whether the lineup actually holds.
Where to meet the cast
The characters hub is the front door: it splits the twenty into the four groups and links every page. From there, open a phase to hear the cast together, or read the character-roles guide to learn the stacking order before you build.
Everything runs in the browser for free. You can browse every character page without playing, or start a mod straight away and learn the cast by dragging them onto the stage.
Why the name gets spelled «sprunkie»
The spelling varies because the brand is spread by word of mouth and by autocomplete: sprunki, sprunkie, sprunky and several other variants all appear in the same comment threads. They mean the same cast.
For our purposes the spelling does not matter, because there is one roster and one set of pages. If you found this page through a variant spelling, you are in the right place.
Character pages versus the hidden list
The twenty standard characters each have a page with art, sounds and profile details. The eighteen hidden characters are documented in the hub rather than individually, because they appear inside specific mods instead of the standard lineup.
That split is deliberate: it keeps the front door simple while still recording everything the catalogue serves.
How to use this list
If you are building a mix, start from the groups rather than the names: pick one beat, one effect, one melody and one vocal, and you have a complete track. The characters inside each group are interchangeable starting points.
If you are reading for lore, open a character page and work down the page: design first, then sounds, then the horror form. That order matches how the site stores the information.
Three mistakes new players make
The first is stacking two characters from the same group and wondering why the mix sounds flat. The second is adding everything at once instead of listening after each layer. The third is assuming the roster is fixed, when hidden characters keep appearing inside specific mods.
All three are easy to fix. Build one group at a time, listen between additions, and browse the hidden characters list when you want something that is not in the standard twenty.
